Product Introduction

Spiral steel pipes are manufactured by rolling strip steel into coils, then cold-forming the material and welding it together using an automated, dual-wire, double-sided submerged arc welding process to create a spiral seam. The process begins by feeding the strip steel into a pipe-making machine, where it passes through multiple sets of rollers that gradually roll and shape the material into a circular tube blank with a slight opening gap. By precisely adjusting the downward pressure applied by the extrusion rollers, the weld gap is carefully controlled to remain between 1 and 3 mm, ensuring that the ends of the weld joint are perfectly aligned.
